For me, a humble artist striving for growth and improvement, October 16, 2011 will be a momentous day. On this day, and this day only, I will have three paintings hanging, each in a different prestigous juried exhibit. I am so proud.

Fire in the Sky

 

These three paintings were created during a six week period earlier this year. During this time my husband was undergoing a cutting edge treament for cancer. These paintings reflect the pain, hope and uncertainty we felt during that period of time.
