I love travel and was lucky enough to be asked to work in Europe during my last six months with Roche Diagnostics. Ken and I lived in the old area of Heidelberg and I worked in Mannheim, Germany. We visited 16 cities across six countries and took three weeks of vacation during our time in Germany. Marvelous! and, for Ken, life changing because he learned to see dogs as family members in Germany. As I create more ATC’s I decided that smalltowndad had inspired me and I would try a European cityscape. Not as refined as Ryan’s work but here goes…

I like it alot, Linda. I hope you took lots of photos when you were there. Architecture so varied and interesting, because it is differeny wherever you go,

    • During our last month in Europe I put together all of my scrapbooks. I brought home 4 complete 3 inch wide scrapbooks. It was so wonderful to have this incredible opportunity and we were able to take full advantage of it. I led a project with German team members who had regular “departmental” jobs so I had lots of free time and flexibility.

So beautiful. It looks like the lights of the water reflects on the bridge. And I just had to look at the clock to see what time it was 😉 .

I have always wanted to visit Prague. I like your little ATC which recalls old cities made of brick and stone.

  4. Lovely work! Sounds like you had an amazing adventure—there isn’t a better way to remember than sitting down and painting it. Lovely! And, oh, how I love that you’ve put your color samples/tests/ etc. up. I need to do this. Thank you for sharing—I can’t tell you how much I learn from watching others work.
