No paintings today…just great news. As you may have noticed I have not been posting or commenting much lately. Well my youngest daughter, Kimberley, was married yesterday. She waited to marry so this was a very special day. The ceremony was in the gardens at the Indianapolis Museum of Art and the reception was in the Garden Terrace building. It was an incredible, happy, special day.
Robert Clark changed his name to Robert Indiana when he moved from his hoosier home to New York. But he never forgot us and we never forgot him. The IMA has one of the largest collections of his work, including this sculpture that says it all…
The images so far are lovely. Maybe they will inspire to focus on happy, joyous and beautiful paintings or drawings. I know I certainly have not stopped smiling.

How utterly GORGEOUS! I am so happy for you, Linda.
Thank you Harriett! The IMA did a SUPER JOB with this one!
woW… be happy forever dear Linda!
Thank you so much. I wish we all could be this happy every day.
Congratulations!
Thank you so much. The wedding was a welcome break from Ken’s treatment.
That’s wonderful! Congratulations. May they have much love and happiness in their new life together.
They are both older. Kim turned 40 in June so I hope she skipped the first marriage failure phase! I think they have a pretty good chance.
very cool reasons to be away from posting and commenting Linda. cool on Robert Clarks work too. awesome place to marry and celebrate. click and cheers to you and yours. aloha.
Aloha Wric – Mahalo. It was a wonderful day!

Thank you. I hope I have time to do some painting nextweek!
Great news – sounds like you had a wonderful day. Beautiful image.
Thank you Sue. The museum has 156 acres of grounds and gardens. It is a beautiful place to marry.
Congratulations. I know how proud you must feel. Take care.
